National Letter of Intent Day: Arizona Wildcats

Feb 4, 2015, 6:24 PM | Updated: Feb 5, 2015, 12:03 am

Wednesday morning, athletes from across the nation faxed in their letters of intent to play enroll and play football at various colleges.

The University of Arizona received a total of 25 commitments for its 2015 class. It is made up of 10 offensive players, 12 defensive players and three “athletes.”

“I’m excited for this class and the future Wildcats,” Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez said. “There was a lot of hard work put in by the staff, coaches, recruiting
personnel, interns and everyone associated with the recruiting process. A lot of these guys have been committed for quite some time and there was really no drama today. This was probably the least amount of drama I have ever experienced as a head coach on National Signing Day. It was a good day all around and we are already starting to work on the future.”

Rodriguez added the biggest priorities in this class were to add depth to the offensive and defensive lines, as well as defensive backfield. He also wanted to increase the team’s overall athleticism and speed.

Below is a list of all of the new recruits, known as “OKGs (Our Kind of Guys)” down in Tucson.
