ASU football head coach Todd Graham dismissed linebacker Davon Durant from the team Wednesday, according to Thayer Evans of Sports Illustrated.
“He’s done,” Graham told SI.com.
“We parted ways. He put himself in that position. It’s a bad deal, but you’ve got to have accountability. We don’t just talk about character and discipline. We live it. No matter what the legal system does, our standards are high and our guys know that. They know they’re going to be held accountable.”
Durant himself, though, is denying his dismissal on Twitter.
False info I am not dismissed .

Durant, 6-foot-2, 240 pounds, has been considered a top junior college transfer from Butler Community College in Kansas.
He was sentenced to two years of supervised probation last month for a domestic violence incident he plead guilty to in May. Durant was suspended indefinitely by Graham since the incident.
