When the Arizona Diamondbacks acquired Peter O’Brien from the New York Yankees in exchange for Martin Prado last summer, the belief was they added a catcher who could absolutely rake, though needed work behind the plate.
Nowadays, it appears what they have is half of that.
Had heard that things were going well behind the plate for #Dbacks Peter O'Brien, but he has apparently made full-time switch to outfield.

O’Brien has appeared in 47 games for Triple A-Reno this season, working behind the plate in just 11 of them. The bulk of his work has been in the outfield, with time split fairly evenly between left and right field. He has a fielding percentage of .955, having made just two errors in 44 chances.
At the plate, the 24-year-old is hitting .339 with 12 home runs and 46 RBI.
