Archie Bradley doing well in recovery from line drive to the face

May 5, 2015, 12:44 PM | Updated: 12:45 pm

It’s been one week since Archie Bradley left a game against the Colorado Rockies after taking a line drive to the face.

At the time, it was feared the young right-hander may be out for a while. The ball was traveling at 115 mph, and the 22-year-old remained on the ground for what seemed like forever after being hit. He eventually got up, though, and seemed to be in good spirits later that night.

The team placed Bradley on the 15-day disabled list with a right sinus fracture the following day, and it appears he may not need much more time than that to get back on the mound.

Bradley tweeted this Tuesday afternoon:

One of the D-backs’ top pitching prospects, Bradley has posted a 2-0 record with a 1.80 ERA in four starts this season.
