Speculation in recent days suggested the Phoenix Suns may look to deal point guard Goran Dragic by the NBA trade deadline.
But on Monday, Yahoo.com NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported the Suns will make an effort to bring Dragic back next season rather than trade him by Thursday’s deadline or allow him to become an unrestricted free agent after the season.
Sources: Goran Dragic's agent plans to meet w/ team officials Tuesday, but Phoenix's determination unchanged: Suns want to re-sign Dragic.

At the end of the season, Dragic will have the option to opt out of the final year of his four-year, $30 million deal with the Suns.
Sources: Suns want to keep and re-sign Dragic, but to even consider a deal, they would minimally want player w/ All-Star potential and pick.

The Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers are among the teams reportedly interested in the seven-year pro. But a report on Friday said the Suns may be more likely to trade fellow point guard Isaiah Thomas before the deadline.
Dragic is averaging 16.2 points and 4.1 assists in 52 games with the Suns this season.
