NFL veteran Cory Redding considered retirement.

At 34 and with 12 professional seasons under his belt, no one would have blamed him.

But Redding, a defensive end, decided he was not ready to call it a career.

A free agent, it looks like he has interest in the Cardinals (and they in him):

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 318 pounds, Redding spent the last three seasons in Indianapolis with the Colts. He appeared in 45 games, collecting 65 total tackles along with 10 sacks.

In his career, which has also seen him play for the Baltimore Ravens, Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions, the 2003 third-round pick has amassed 304 total tackles and 35.5 sacks.
