The local telecast of the Arizona Cardinals’ 14-6 win over the Detroit Lions last Sunday generated a 30.0 rating and a 55 share, according to the NFL and The Nielsen Company.
It was the fifth straight week that a Cardinals broadcast received a 50 share or better and the fourth straight week that a game had an audience of over 500,000 local households.
The Cardinals’ 10 games this season have averaged a 27.2 rating and a 50 share while being watched by an average of 501,000 local households.
This year’s figures represent a 35 percent increase over the same point last season, which is the largest such increase in the National Football League.
The Cardinals hit the road to visit the Seattle Seahawks in a crucial NFC West matchup Sunday at CenturyLink Field. The game kicks off at 2:05 p.m. and can be seen on FOX 10 in Phoenix. Radio coverage begins at 10:00 a.m. on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.
