Redskins’ Santana Moss unloads on refs, gets ejected after controversial call

Oh boy was Washington Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss angry.
Nothing has gone right for the 3-10 Redskins this season. They sit at the bottom of the NFC East and have had nothing but controversy and negativity surrounding their once proud franchise.
However, as Washington took a 17-7 lead over its division rival New York Giants, things appeared to be looking up. Not so fast.
With the final seconds of the first half tickling down, Robert Griffin III (in for the injured Colt McCoy) scrambled out of the pocket and toward the endzone. As he dived for the pylon, he began to lose control of the ball. By the time he hit the ground, the ball was completely free.
The touchdown was reversed with the clock at triple zeros, causing the Washington sideline, and Moss in particular, to lose their collective minds.
We don’t know what was said between Moss and referee Jeff Triplette, but it made Triplette so mad that he had trouble grabbing the flag out of his pants. It was also enough to earn the veteran receiver an ejection.
