The Arizona Cardinals inked two more members of their 2015 draft class to four-year contracts Monday.
The team announced it had signed running back David Johnson, a third-round pick, and tight end Gerald Christian, a seventh-round selection.
Johnson rushed for 1,553 yards and 17 touchdowns on 287 carries for Northern Iowa last season, a year in which he broke 15 school records. For his career, the running back ran for 4,687 yards and 49 touchdowns on 866 carries while catching 141 passes for 1,734 yards and 14 scores.
Christian, the final pick in the entire draft, caught 60 passes for 810 yards and nine touchdowns in two seasons at Louisville.
Monday’s signings mean first-round pick D.J. Humphries is the only one of Arizona’s seven-player draft class who has yet to sign.
