The Arizona Cardinals shuffled their roster a bit Monday, releasing veteran linebacker Desmond Bishop and elevating rookie offensive lineman Anthony Steen to the active roster from the practice squad.
Bishop, who was signed as a free agent in training camp, spent time on the roster, but didn’t play a down for the Cardinals this season.
Steen, an undrafted rookie from Alabama, has spent the entire season on the practice squad after being released Aug. 30. The 6-foot-3, 309-pound lineman played in 51 games for the Crimson Tide in college, starting 36.
The Cardinals also signed tackle Kelvin Palmer to the practice squad. He was released from the practice squad, where he had spent the entire season, last week.
