LISTEN: Calais Campbell, Cardinals defensive end

It’s hard not to notice Calais Campbell.

Even in street clothes, the Arizona Cardinals’ defensive end is an imposing figure, standing 6-foot-8 and weighing 300 pounds.

On the football field, it’s impossible not to notice Campbell. But noticing him and stopping him are two different things. Just ask the St. Louis Rams.

Campbell had six tackles, four tackles for loss, two quarterback sacks and two quarterback hurries in Arizona’s 31-14 win over the Rams at University of Phoenix Stadium Sunday.

In other words, he was all over the place. But the seventh-year veteran thought he could have done more.

“It was fun to be out there but I really feel like I could have played better,” Campbell told Bickley and Marotta Monday on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM. “I left a couple plays out there, but it happens.”
