Bengals LB Maualuga to visit with Cardinals

Mar 12, 2013, 11:00 PM | Updated: 11:09 pm

The Arizona Cardinals are in need of a linebacker to pair with Daryl Washington, and it’s possible they’ll be finding one in the AFC North.

Maualuga, 26, is coming off a season in which he posted a career-best 122 tackles — 62 solo — and tallied one sack.

Originally a second round pick of the Bengals in 2009 out of USC, the 6-foot-2, 265 pound Maualuga is at his best as a run defender.

In four seasons with the Bengals he has tallied 348 combined tackles, three sacks and three interceptions.
