Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has not had a good season.

Vick has thrown just 11 touchdowns against nine interceptions, has been sacked 27 times and has lost three fumbles.

He's missed two games with a concussion, and appears to be running out of time in the City of Brotherly Love.

Though he's just a couple years removed from a Pro Bowl season in which he threw 21 touchdowns and just nine interceptions while running for 676 yards and nine scores, at 32 some may think Vick's days as an NFL starter are coming to an end.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter says not so fast.

"When you look around the league right now there are enough teams with enough quarterback questions," Shefter opined on ESPN radio Wednesday. "But you look at right now, who has quarterback questions? Michael Vick, would he be an upgrade in Buffalo, would he be an upgrade in Arizona, would he be an upgrade with the Jets?

"Would he be an upgrade with any team that has quarterback questions right now? Those three come to mind."

Schefter noted that if any of those teams feel like they can do better than Michael Vick then it's possible he'll be relegated to being a backup for whatever team he's with next season.

However, given that the Cardinals have started Derek Anderson, Max Hall, John Skelton, Kevin Kolb and Ryan Lindley over the last few seasons, it's fair to believe that no, the Cardinals cannot do better than Michael Vick.

is he a better qb than we have? maybe. but he would have the same struggles he is having in philly as our offensive line is possibly even worse

    Consideration
Vick might be better than what we have, but as "mesa mad man" said, our O-line would probably be just as bad as Philly's. On the other side of the fence, our line has gotten better and even gives a rookie enough time to throw the ball. And Vick is a good scrambler when need be. He can also throw an accurate ball when given time. So he could be an upgrade, but the Cards already have some sour memories of the last trade with Philly. The real question is, are the Cardinals willing to throw so much down on another gamble?

    Not a good idea
Get a starting QB who is injured almost as often as our current starter? If not more? No thanks. The Cards seem to be in the same position as the Suns. They might need to stink it up for a year or two to get a high draft pick and go after a franchise guy in the draft. Now can they do that and keep Fitz, D-Wash, And Patrick Peterson happy at the same time?

Not another injury bug or Philedelphia Eagle QB. Im down with A Smith tho! But hes not gonna be able to throw 52 X's a games. AZ has to limit his throws by running the ball effectively. A Smith can go 18/18 if we can run the ball! But thats with any QB. Problem is, Whiz doesnt stick with the run. So asking ANY QB to throw 52 X's a game is asking for trouble (turnovers/3&outs).

    Vick to Cards? Sure
As a backup to Kolb. A depth chart of Kolb/Vick/Lindley would be fine with me. But not as the starter.

If the Cards get Vick, I'm going back to following the NY teams. NO DOG KILLERS.
