    ...but you left out what I think was one of the biggest factors favoring Denver: the "staying in the AFC" factor. If Peyton truly wanted to stay in the AFC at almost any cost (as clearly he did), Denver was the most logical place for him out of the 3 AFC teams he considered. The division is weak and the team is more poised for a Super Bowl run with him under center than either Tennessee or (certainly) Miami would be. Not having to go through Eli to get to the Super Bowl was/is (I think) a HUGE factor for him.
