The Shootout: We can’t wait to see Max Domi on the Arizona Coyotes

Jan 9, 2015, 11:57 PM | Updated: 11:58 pm

It’s a pretty exciting time to be an Arizona Coyotes fan.

After all, the team officially has a new majority owner in Philadelphia hedge fund manager Andrew Barroway. Despite rumors to the contrary (read: a lot of bored Canadians on Twitter), the sale only means good things for hockey in the desert.

And despite more rumors, Shane Doan is still a Coyote and is looking to be on the upswing. His game seems to be getting more consistent, leading to a more consistent team effort behind him. Have the Coyotes dropped their losing ways for good?

Finally, we’re pretty excited about this Max Domi kid coming through the Coyotes’ system. He was arguably the best player at the World Junior Championship and that’s saying a lot.
