You just can’t beat the Arizona Wildcats at the McKale Center. Well, at least no one has in nearly two years.

That trend did not change on Wednesday night, as the Wildcats rolled past the Oregon Ducks 90-56 for their 19th win of the season and seventh win in Pac-12 play. The last time Arizona tasted defeat in Tucson was a 77-69 loss to Cal on Feb. 10, 2013.

Arizona (19-2, 7-1) put on a show for the Wildcats faithful with powerful dunks sprinkled throughout an all-around great game. The No. 6 team in the country looked every bit as much, overcoming a slow start to each half en route to blow out victory.

Gabe York led all Wildcats with 16 points off the bench. Brandon Ashley scored 13 and Stanley Johnson added a dozen.

The Wildcats are winners of five games in a row after a shocking 58-56 defeat to Oregon State in Corvallis on Jan. 11. The revenge game takes place Friday night in Tucson.

Here’s how the Wildcats extended their winning streak, by the numbers:

6

Six different Wildcats scored in double figures, including all five starters. Oregon had three players score 11 or more points while Arizona had five.

14

Arizona did plenty of things well on Wednesday night and rebounding was one of them. The Wildcats outrebounded the Ducks by 14 (34-20).

33-13

Bench scoring was a key component in the Wildcats’ blowout victory. Arizona’s bench scored 33 points while Oregon’s mustered just 13.

33

The Wildcats extended their home winning streak to 33 games with Wednesday’s victory. That is the second-longest active home winning streak in the nation, behind only Gonzaga.

21.5

Arizona’s 33-game winning streak is made even more impressive considering the fashion in which they are winning games. The average winning margin for the Wildcats during the streak is 21.5 points.

82.4

If there is one major issue with the Wildcats it’s free throw shooting. That was not the case on Wednesday night. Coming into the game ranked 195th in the country shooting 68.3 percent from the line, Arizona knocked down 14-of-17 attempts (82.4 percent) against Oregon.
