The Arizona Wildcats got a much-needed sweep in the Bay Area
last weekend, knocking off Pac-12 leading California on
Thursday before taking down Stanford Saturday.
The wins kept Arizona's tournament hopes alive, as well as helped Kyle Fogg win the Pac-12 Player of the Week award.
Fogg, a senior who is leading the Wildcats in scoring, tallied 23 points on 8-of-14 shooting against Cal, while adding four assists, three rebounds, two steals and a block in the win.
He followed that effort up with a 14-point, four rebound, four assist, one block and one steal performance against the Cardinal.
Fogg shot .478 from the field in the pair of wins, making 8- of-13 three pointers.
A Wildcat has won the award three times this season, with junior Solomon Hill getting the nod twice in the month of December.
