After Arizona State fired men’s head basketball coach Herb Sendek in March, the roster started to change a little bit.
One of those changes was that guard Chance Murray, who had just completed his sophomore season for the Sun Devils, announced he was transferring.
Late Tuesday, he finally announced where he’s going to continue his college basketball career.
Blessed and thankful for the opportunity to start this journey at UC Riverside. Excited to take this next step! pic.twitter.com/lqyziMMxcn

Murray came off the bench in 29 games for ASU last season, averaging 8.6 minutes, 2.4 points and 1.1 assists.
He was a three-star recruit out of Price High School in Los Angeles and was considered the best piece in Sendek’s 2013 class.
Due to NCAA transfer rules, Murray won’t be eligible to play until the 2016-17 season.
