Now, it's Fat Lever's turn.
Thursday night the former three-year starter and two-time all-conference selection will be honored as his #12 jersey will be hung from the rafters at Wells Fargo Arena.
"I think it's one of the best things that we've done," explained head coach Herb Sendek. "To go back and begin to honor some of the great and legendary players...it's great."
Lever played for the Sun Devils from 1978-1982.
"We're thrilled to be able to (honor) Fat this Thursday," Sendek said.
Lever was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame in 1988 and received the Pac-10 Hall of Honor in 2004.
He was the 11th overall pick in the 1982 NBA Draft by the Portland Trail Blazers. He also played with the Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks during his 11-year pro career.
The ceremony honoring Lever will take place at halftime of ASU's game against Washington.
The Sun Devils are once again expected to be without leading scorer Trent Lockett. He's missed the past two games after suffering a sprained ankle against Oregon State on January 14.
