The Arizona Wildcats released their injury report Wednesday, and starting quarterback Anu Solomon was listed as “questionable” for Friday’s game against Arizona State.
Solomon aggravated a previous ankle injury in the first half of Arizona’s matchup against Utah, which the Wildcats won 42-10.
He was fitted with a walking boot during halftime, and the Wildcats brought in backup Jesse Scroggins for the second half.
Solomon, a redshirt freshman, has been very impressive this season. He has a completion percentage of 57.6, and has thrown 25 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Before leaving the game, Solomon had 158 passing yards and an 11-yard rushing touchdown against the Utes.
Arizona is No. 11 in the College Football Playoff Rankings, while the Sun Devils are No. 13. The game starts at 1:30 p.m. local time.
