Arizona Wildcats slip to No. 15 in Week 13 College Football Playoff rankings

Arizona Wildcats kicker Casey Skowron lifted his team to a 27-26 victory over the visiting Washington Huskies on Saturday in Tucson, knocking down a 47-yard field goal as time expired.
With the win, the Wildcats improved to 8-2 on the season and 5-2 in the Pac-12.
Arizona’s narrow victory over a 6-5 Huskies team must have been not all that convincing to the committee, who stuck them with a No. 15 designation in Week 13 — one spot lower than they ranked last week.
Only in-state rival Arizona State (13), UCLA (9) and Oregon (2) — a team Arizona upset at home earlier in the year — are ranked higher among Pac-12 teams included in this week’s update.
Alabama, Oregon, Florida State and Mississippi State make up the top 4 spots in the rankings.
USC (19) and Utah (17) were the only other Pac-12 teams to make the top 25. Arizona is slated to face the Utes on the road this Saturday.
