Carey left the University of Arizona as the school’s all-time leading rusher. He was a consensus All-American in 2012 and 2013, and was the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year last season.
A less-than-ideal 40-yard dash time along with off-the-field concerns contributed to him slipping to the Bears with the 117th pick.
