Arizona State names captains for 2015 season

The Arizona State Sun Devils have named their captains for the 2015 season.
Quarterback Mike Bercovici, receiver D.J. Foster and senior Jordan Simone all earned the nod, while cornerback Lloyd Carrington, center Nick Kelly and linebacker Laiu Moeakiola were selected as co-captains.
The Sun Devils also named special teams captains, with placekicker Zane Gonzalez and defensive back DeAndre Scott being chosen.
The team’s captains were selected by a team vote that was taken after Spring football practices were completed.
Arizona State’s first game in a highly-anticipated season is September 5 against Texas A&M.
