Still trying to find an excuse to ditch out of work early on Thursday to cheer on the Sun Devils?
Todd Graham has you covered.
The Sun Devil Athletics Twitter account posted a picture of an official note from Graham that excuses anyone from work on Thursday to attend the Sun Devils’ home game against the UCLA Bruins. To prevent any bosses from questioning the legitimacy of the note, Graham signed it himself, even legally binding it under Sun Devil Law with a stamp.
Graham seems to understand that with all of Sun Devil Nation missing work on Thursday, Tempe’s work force may come to a complete collapse, as the coach apologizes for the inconvenience. Though even with the prospect of an entire city falling into chaos with all employees watching a football game, Graham apparently is prioritizing the matchup between two teams ranked in the top 15 in the polls.
Graham makes sure to cover all bases in the note, asking for bosses to also excuse employees on Friday morning, leaving room for fans to cheer or possibly celebrate early into the next day.
Thursday night’s game will start at 7 p.m. at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, where both teams will attempt to stay undefeated and keep pace in the Pac-12 South.
