The Arizona State Sun Devils are going bowling this year, though no one is quite sure yet where they will be.
However, one place they won't go is New Mexico.
"The reality is for us, we're in the middle of finals during the New Mexico Bowl," Arizona State athletic director Steve Patterson told Arizona Sports 620's Doug and Wolf Tuesday. "So we just can't go there."
The Gildan New Mexico Bowl is schedules for December 15th.

That leaves the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas and the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl in San Francisco as the most likely destinations for the Devils, though Vegas may be out due to having played in the game last season.
"So then whether we go to San Francisco or to Las Vegas, which is where I think we should go, over the next few days we'll get some resolution about that," he said.
