The Phoenix Coyotes waived defenseman Rostislav Klesla, the team confirmed Tuesday.

Klesla is a 13-year veteran who joined the Coyotes near the end of the 2010-11 season.

The defenseman has struggled with injuries the last two seasons and hasn't produced consistently on the ice of late. In 15 games this year, he had one goal and two assists.
