The Arizona Diamondbacks traded right-handed pitcher Mike Bolsinger to the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for cash considerations on Saturday.
He was designated for assignment by the D-backs earlier this week.
Bolsinger, 26, made his MLB debut last season, pitching in 10 games (nine starts). He went 1-6 with a 5.50 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 48 Ks.
Bolsinger spent most of last season with the triple-A Reno Aces, going 8-3 with a 3.93 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 88 Ks in 17 games (16 starts).
The LA Times reports Bolsinger was added to the Dodgers’ 40-man roster after the team designated left-handed pitcher Jarret Martin for assignment.
