The Arizona Diamondbacks added another outfielder Monday in a three-player deal with the Chicago Cubs.

The D-backs acquired Tony Campana from Chicago for minor leaguers Erick Leal and Jesus Castillo.

Campana, who was a 13th round pick by the Cubs back in 2008, played 184 games in the big leagues over the last two seasons. He is a career .262 hitter with 54 stolen bases in 59 attempts.

Both Leal and Castillo pitched for the D-backs in the Rookie-A Dominican Summer League in 2012.

Sounds like the kid has wheels. Dbacks stocking up on speedsters. Maybe setting up to trade Parra next?

    The move to speed
The Dbacks have talked about becoming more of a base stealing team to put pressure on the other team, guess this proves it. This kid had 30 steals in under 90 games played and only 190 plate appearances, if he could bat .280+ this is a steal.

    5 outfielders?
Does this mean Eaton hasn't recovered from his injury? I know you need depth, but this is getting ridiculous. Maybe Kubel is still on the block. KT, what is going on in that head of yours!

    Say goodbye to Parra
Acquiring a smart baserunner to take the place of a dumb baserunner seems like a smart move to me.
