Goran Dragic’s second stint with the Phoenix Suns ended Thursday when the veteran guard was traded (along with his brother, Zoran) to the Miami Heat for two first-round draft picks and forward Danny Granger.
The trade came less than 48 hours after Dragic’s agent, Bill Duffy, met with Suns’ management and informed them his client had no intentions of re-signing with the team in the coming offseason.
Wednesday, Dragic made headlines when he told local media he no longer trusted the Phoenix front office.
Dragic took to Twitter Thursday afternoon to clarify his comments and to thank the fans for his time in Phoenix.
