Report: Jeff Weltman remains frontrunner for Suns’ GM job

The search for the next general manager of the Phoenix Suns is gaining steam.
NBA analyst Ric Bucher tweeted Milwaukee Bucks assistant general manager Jeff Weltman remains the favorite to land the Suns’ vacant GM position.

The Bucks granted the Suns permission to speak with their assistant GM.
Weltman came to the Bucks in April 2008 and he has worked closely alongside Milwaukee general manager John Hammond for the past five years.
He was also a finalist for the Suns’ GM position in 2010 when Lance Blanks got the job.
