Cardinals’ players excited about hiring first NFL female coach

The Arizona Cardinals made history on Monday by hiring Jen Welter as a coaching intern throughout training camp and preseason.
Welter will coach inside linebackers and is believed to be the first female to hold a coaching position of any kind in the NFL.
There were a few Cardinals’ players that took to Twitter after the announcement, expressing their excitement of the new coaching hire and welcoming Welter to the organization.
