NFL.com: Arizona Cardinals in a couple Super Bowl 50 dream matchups

There isn’t a single Arizona Cardinals fan who would not like to see the team play in Super Bowl 50 next February.
Apparently that desire has reached a national level, too.
NFL.com asked its writers to provide their dream matchup for the game, and two of them chose the Cardinals to represent the NFC.
Charley Casserly picked a Cardinals vs. Indianapolis Colts Super Bowl, citing the many story lines that would come with it, including Bruce Arians facing off against the coach and team that resuscitated his career as well as Arizona QB Carson Palmer’s chance to finally make good on his potential as the top overall pick in the 2003 draft.
Conor Orr, meanwhile, wants to see the Cardinals face off with the Buffalo Bills.
If we’re talking about dream matchups, I don’t think there’s a better scenario from a writer’s perspective than getting a Rex Ryan-Bruce Arians matchup in the title game, right? At the end of the day, we get into this to hear the stories, and there aren’t two better storytellers in the NFL than Ryan and Arians. They’ll be relaxed and in the moment. We’ll all reap the benefits.
Arians was asked Monday about his team landing in a couple of the matchups.
“I’d take either one,” he said, with laughter. “As long as we’re in it. That would be fun.”
