After supplying all of the points in the Arizona Cardinals’ 12-6 win over the St. Louis Rams last Thursday, rookie kicker Chandler Catanzaro has been named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Catanzaro connected from 23, 44, 51 and 46 yards in the Cardinals’ 11th win of the season.
It is the second time the former Clemson Tiger has won the honor this season, also nabbing it in Week 6 when he kicked three field goals in a 30-20 win over the Washington Redskins.
Catanzaro also is only the fourth rookie in Cardinals’ history to win multiple Player of the Week honors in his first season, joining Patrick Peterson (2011), Bill Gramatica (2001) and Ronald Moore (1993).
