After two weeks firmly planted on the schneid, the Arizona Cardinals got back to their proven formula last Sunday.
The defense limits the opponent’s scoring and the offense does just enough to win.
It worked again in a 17-14 win over the Kansas City Chiefs — a victory that gave head coach Bruce Arians and the Cardinals 10 wins for the second straight season.
With three games remaining, Arizona is still atop the NFC West. But their perch will be challenged with three games against division opponents, starting with Thursday night’s tilt in St. Louis versus the Rams.
Here’s a look at the Cardinals’ place on various NFL power rankings from around the country.
