It’s official.

The Arizona Cardinals have placed Darnell Dockett on injured reserve.

In conjunction with the move they announced the signings of Isaac Sopoaga and Ryan McBean. Both received one-year deals.

McBean had been with the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers, appearing in 47 games — 21 starts — over four seasons.

With the Steelers, he played in one game his rookie year and then spent 2008 on the Broncos practice squad. He played regularly for Denver from 2009-11. In 2012, he missed the season with an ankle injury.

Sopoaga is a 10-year veteran who spent time in Philadelphia and New England in 2013. He had been a San Francisco 49er for the first nine seasons of his career. In 139 games — 89 starts — he has 8.5 sacks. He was released by the Patriots in March.

Both will get their chance to join the rotation on the Cardinals’ line.
