The Arizona Cardinals re-signed exclusive rights free agent nose tackle Alameda Ta'amu to a one-year deal Thursday.

Ta'amu, whom the Cardinals picked up on waivers from the Pittsburgh Steelers last September, played in 14 games for Arizona in 2013. He registered 13 total tackles and three tackles for loss.

The 6-foot-3, 348-pound tackle was originally a fourth-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2012 out of the University of Washington.
