Carson Palmer just can’t get a win lately.
The Arizona Cardinals’ quarterback is the ninth-most disliked player in the NFL, according to a Forbes article released on Monday. Palmer has a 24 percent dislike rate among fans, putting him just behind Tom Brady and ahead of Reggie Bush.
Palmer, the 2003 Heisman Trophy winner and first overall selection of Cincinnati, came to Arizona in an offseason trade with the Oakland Raiders. The article cited Palmer’s botched departure from the Bengals as a possible reason for his lack of popularity. The quarterback’s numbers this season might not have helped either, as he’s second in the league with 13 interceptions.
Michael Vick topped the list, as 48 percent of fans dislike the currently-injured Philadelphia quarterback.
