Arizona Sports’ Arizona Cardinals draft predictions

Apr 25, 2013, 9:03 PM | Updated: 9:48 pm

There are many predictions of what the Arizona Cardinals will do with their first-round pick Thursday.

Number seven overall, the team has been linked to pretty much every position on the field, sans wide receiver.

Don’t believe us? Take a look at our Mock Draft Tracker.

Anyway, the experts here at Arizona Sports 620 have their own theories, and they can be seen below.

Vince Marotta
Who do you want them to take?
OT Eric Fisher, Central Michigan. It may be a pipe dream that Fisher is still available at No. 7, but I believe he’ll develop into the best tackle in this draft class. And the Cards haven’t picked a tackle in the first three rounds of the draft since the Carter administration, so it’s time.

Who do you think they will take?
OLB/DE Barkevious Mingo, LSU. The three top tackles may all be gone by the Cardinals pick at No. 7 and pass rush is a glaring need for the team as well. Mingo had 15 sacks in 40 career games in Baton Rouge and has the coolest name in the history of football. This could still turn out well.
