The Arizona Cardinals appear to be on the brink of landing another coveted free agent.

According to Browns beat writer Mary Kay Cabot, Josh Cribbs is headed to the Valley.

However, conflicting reports surfaced late Wednesday about Cribbs' rumored deal with the Cardinals.

NFL Network and NFL.com reporter Ian Rapoport tweeted that while Cribbs wants a deal with the Cardinals, one hasn't yet been agreed upon.

CBS NFL Insider Jason La Canfora also tweeted Cribbs to the Cardinals could be premature.

Cribbs took to Twitter on Wednesday night and thanked the Browns organization, signaling he's indeed leaving.

Cribbs was named to his third Pro Bowl last year as a kick returner.

He posted a career-high 41 receptions for 518 yards and four touchdowns in 2011, but finished with just seven catches last season.

    Filling holes
One player, 2 holes filled. He will be a nice piece this season. He will become our 4th receiver and give us an excellent kick returner. Total win

Cards needed something to ignite the Offense and improve field position in general. Can't wait to see how Arians schemes to get his playmakers the ball.

    Good
A good pickup if the price is right and they can work out a deal.
