According to a report, Arizona Cardinals running back Javarris James has been suspended for the first four games of the 2013 season.

Long-time sportscaster and writer Howard Balzer broke the story.

James, 25, signed with the Cardinals prior to last season but did not appear in a game for the team after tearing his ACL in the preseason finale. He last played in 2010 when he was with the Indianapolis Colts, where he scored six rushing touchdowns and gained 112 yards on 46 carries.

    SOP for this guy.
Facts: Univ of Miami player Was released by the Colts after he was arrested for marijuana possession in 2011. Now he's suspended 4 games for violating the league's policy and program for substance abuse. OTHER: played 10 games as an undrafted rookie for the Indianapolis Colts in 2010, but he hasn't played an NFL game since. He also has had stops with the New England Patriots and Washington Redskins. Time to cut bait Cards.
