listen Listen: Michael Bidwill, Team President of the Arizona Cardinals
Bidwill talks to Doug and Wolf about all things Cardinals.

Of all the questions facing the Arizona Cardinals as their offseason continues, none are as pressing or important as what is going to happen at the quarterback position.

Kevin Kolb, John Skelton, Ryan Lindley and Brian Hoyer all got a shot last season, with none of them staking claim to the job.

And while Skelton, Lindley and Hoyer would all come back on low-money contracts, Kolb is set to make some good money next season.

Good money, as in $11 million for his services in 2013.

So, given his lack of production over the last two seasons, will something have to change for Kolb to return to Arizona?

As team president Michael Bidwill told Arizona Sports 620's Doug and Wolf as part of "Newsmakers Week", that would likely be the case.

"Kevin's contract is probably something we're going to need to address," he said. "It's a big number and given the productivity and the questions about durability and everything, that's something that I think the reality is we need to sit down and discuss."

Now, assuming the contract is re-worked and Kolb returns, the question becomes whether or not he does so as the team's starter.

That decision, Bidwill said, belongs to the coaching staff.

"They're all going to take a look at the quarterbacks that we have and really look at the tape," he said. "I know they've been looking at that, they've got a meeting [Tuesday] to talk about all the free agents, the people and everything along those lines.

"But I think it's really, let's take a look at the guys that are on our roster first."

That is pretty impressive there my friend. I could also see us trading back up into the 2nd if Tyler Wilson is still there in the 50's even parting with a 5th or 2 6's to get him. But of course I am impartial because I am impressed with T Wilson over T Bray. Heck even Manuel would be a solid choice in the 3rd. Do you think Ball or Lacy will be there late 2nd early 3rd?

Am I the only one who thinks when you get sacked 19 times in 4 games while winning 4 of them that you did a pretty good job. Your body can only take so many sacks before inevitably you go down for good.

This is why we must draft O-Line in the 1st Rd.

    Cut Kolb
He's made out of glass and he always runs backwards. Face it the guy sucks and got paid a truck load of money to get hurt to stand on the sidelines with turf toe, concussions and a rib injury. Not real injuries if you ask me.

Good mock up accept I like Manuel or Glennon over Bray or Wilson. I suspect Glennon may be gone at AZ second pick maybe if he is still on the board then Glennon if not go Manuel in the third round and Xavier in second. I also like Tyrann Mathews late 6 or 7. I dought Lacy is there still second round but Bell or Ball would be nice not at 2 nd round though

I agree he seems to be pretty fragile. But holy cow Suspence, his ribs were detached from the sternum. Basically floating freely to puncture organs. What do you consider a real injury? I think the league should've taken another look at that hit. The defender landed on Kolb's torso with his forearms and elbows, grinding them intentionally into ribs as Kolb rolled over.

Kevin Kolb will probably be traded, with the notion of him making 11 million is ridiculous. This is a QB that has only played in less than 50% of his games. In the 2011 season played horrible (1-6) then got injured. In 2012 played some what better and went 4-2 had a couple of game winning drives but was starting to lose momentum as he lost his last two game before getting injured lost the trainning camp competition. Doesn't fit in Arians system (not good in the pocket, not a very good arm) Why keep him?
