You may go ahead and file this away in the "yeah, we know" section of your NFL knowledge, but NFL.com analyst Bucky Brooks has gone out and said it:

Texas A&M tackle Luke Joeckel would be a good fit with the Arizona Cardinals.

Regarded as the top left tackle in the 2013 draft class, Joeckel certainly looks the part. At 6-foot-6 and 310 pounds he has the size, and he's a very good athlete who was very productive in blocking for 2012 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel.

Needless to say, many teams could use a player like Joeckel, and a few of them are set to pick before Arizona is on the clock.

However, should he still be around at the seventh spot, Brooks believes the Cardinals would be wise to draft him.

The Cardinals started a pair of rookie offensive tackles (Nate Potter and Bobby Massie) in 2012, but neither player can rival the talent or athleticism of Joeckel. With Bruce Arians committed to pushing the ball down the field with a vertical passing attack, the presence of a standout left tackle could help the Cardinals' offense regain the explosiveness that has been missing in recent years.

The presence of Potter and Massie, as well as the return of Levi Brown from injury, may lead new coach Bruce Arians and his staff a different direction when they pick, even if Joeckel is still on the board.

But it may never even get to that point, as Brooks notes Joeckel would be a good fit for the Kansas City Chiefs, who pick first, and Philadelphia Eagles, who select fourth.

    trade up
Cards would need to trade up to get him, he would likely be taken before Cards pick at #7. NO WAY, he is still on the board.

    The only way
He is still on the board at 7 is if he has a bad combine. We can always hope that happens haha.

    Cards won't get him
As movingaz says, only way the Cards would get him is by trading up, and I don't see them doing that. Don't see the value in it as LT isn't a huge enough need to give up extra picks for with Levi and Potter both potentially capable, and with the depth at T in this draft. Go with standard formula, BPA at an area of some need like T, G, pass rusher, or DB.

    Long shot
I'm with movingaz realistically if the Cards want Joeckel they are going to have to trade up to get him and like CardsFan said I don't see the value in it. The only tiny possibility I could see Joeckel dropping to #7 is if the Chiefs take Star Lotulelei, Jaguars take their much needed pass rusher and for some reason the Raiders pass on Dee Milliner for a LB and let him drop to the Eagles, the Lions already have Riely Reiff and the Browns of course have Joe Thomas, this would take a lot of luck and a miracle to happen.

Is there anywhere Joeckel wouldn't fit? Joeckel is the #1 overall prospect, we are at 7. This is just dumb and I just wasted 30 seconds of my life.

    Fisher might be better
There are some people saying Eric Fisher is actually better. He is definately bigger and stronger and a year older, but I think the combine will tell us more. I personally think Fisher plays a little nastier.

    Trade up part two
The only way arizona can get Joeckle is if KC doesn't pick him number one overall. Second is if Raiders would actually trade out of number 3 to AZ. In a perfect world that would be AZ best draft start in awhile. However odds are unlikely to unfold in this order. So I have another draft mock wish list for AZ. First round. Joeckle if able to trade up no brainier. Likely first round, Eric Fisher/Chance Wormack Second- Giovoni Bernard/Barrett Jones Third- Mike Glennon/Ej Manuel/Eddy Lacy Fourth- William Gholston, DE Fifth- Jake Stoneburner TE Sixth- Jordan Kovacs SS Seventh- Tyrann Mathieu DB

I like your mock draft wish list, if the Cards could get those players I would be very happy. Unfortunately I see Mike Glennon and Eddy Lacy going in the 1st or 2nd round and Tyrann Mathieu going in the 3rd or 4th. @Whatashame personally I think this draft is loaded with RB and WR, some of the WR I like are Cordarrelle Patterson, Justin Hunter, Travon Austin, DaAdndre Hopkins, Robert Woods, Terrance Williams, Markus Wheaton, Cobi Hamilton, Kenny Stills, Stedman Bailey and Ryan Swope jus to name a few.
