Teams want offense...Horton is probably on the outside looking in for all of the positions. As things shake out and their are only a few teams left he may get a real chance.

To me they've done little. Interview (1 or 2)with a guy whose office is down the hall. Set up interview w/guy who's interviewing a lot of places (McCoy) and set up interview with Haley who might not take it?

    Baby Bidwill is the problem....
Let's take a look at this. Baby Bidwill didn't want to keep Whiz and allow him authority. Baby Bidwill's is a driving force behinds player selections. Baby Bidwill's opinion of himself (and the Cards) are over rated. having said that, Baby Bidwill is a businessman and makes money with the Cards. That is his bottom line. There are always event goers (I no longer call them sports fans) that will go to games. TV money has changed sports and pretty much ruined it, NFL, NBA, College too.... these are EVENTS now, not sports.

The NFL is an INDUSTRY Fred
Not your buddy. Your comments are pretty schizophrenic, even for an "event goer." Regardless of why you THINK Whiz was fired, it was justified by performance. You said Bidwell was the driving force behind player selections, but he fired Whiz because he was tired of Whiz's authority. Maybe you can make sense of this for me. TV money has ruined sports? How so? Why... because Bidwell has enough to eat the $5 million he owes Whiz? Most would say that's a good thing.

    HIRE HORTON!
I dont understand the thought that we NEED and OFFENSIVE mind at HC. We had one. Didnt do a thing - but we did have a great DEFENSE with an OFFENSIVE head coach. We need the right QB and the right OC - which means the right GM. That is Keim. Horton isnt going to run the minutiae of the offense. He is there to establish the culture and make the big decisions. The only thing that could be holding up hiring horton is the worry that they CANT get a good OC unless they make one a head coach. What about Turner?

    Far from eventful
I dont think it has been anything close to eventful. Interview what? 2 people? Just sitting and waiting and why? Lovie who has expressed interest in the job has not been contacted by the cardinals. Hope this doesnt come back to bite them. Unless they are playing the field, seeing what they can get knowing they are going to hire horton the whole time. Who knows. Always an adventure with this team.

You are trying to be funny (which you are not) or you know nothing about sports. Whisenhunt was on his way to taking this franchise back to their loosing ways, and also ruining the career of Larry Fitzgerald. Michael Bidwill is wanting to get the team back to the way it was 3 years ago.

Slow down on the Horton talk
Everybody seems to think that the obvious choice is Horton, but I'm not so sure. First of all, the defense is fine, but it's the offense that needs fixing. For those that don't understand why that is best done with an offensive mind at HC (Birdman), it's because it's the HC that tells the GM what he wants. Furthermore, Horton had at least one interview last year, and has been interviewed by at least three teams this year, and he still has not been hired. Maybe the owners know something we don't, seeing as we don't actually know any of these people.
