TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona Cardinals have re-signed guard-center Mike Gibson and released defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin.

Monday's move comes after Lumpkin was promoted from the practice squad Saturday and Gibson was released.

Before signing with Arizona last Wednesday, Gibson spent three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, appearing in 20 games, eight as a starter.

He was with the Philadelphia Eagles in training camp before being released on Aug. 31. Gibson was a sixth-round draft pick of Philadelphia out of California in 2008.

    Haley? Really?
Haley had Warner, Fitz, Boldin and Breaston to make him appear to be some type of OC guru. So KC gets suckered in and make it to the playoffs becaause of Charlie Weis as OC. Weis bailed because of the abrasive nature of Haley and that wouldn't change if he was in AZ as HC. The bigger issue would be the loss of Ray Horton. His leadership, respect of the players and game planning skills have been proven. Ray Horton needs to be the head coach of the Cards.
