Sen. John McCain could have had himself a foul ball but he blew it

There are no guarantees in life. Especially not in baseball.
Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona) learned Tuesday that even having a foul ball land in your lap is not a guarantee you’re going home with a ball.
McCain and his wife, Cindy were watching the D-backs take on the Dodgers from behind home plate, prime seats to get yourself a souvenir.

Jimmy Rollins gift wrapped one for the long-time senator, and maybe the pressure of the big leagues got to him, but he watched it roll down the stairs to his right, and into the arms of an unknown fan.
We will give cool points where cool points are due — at least he didn’t chase after it.
