Fired manager Bud Black awkwardly appears as June in Padres team calendar

Talk about rubbing your nose in it.
After compiling a lackluster 32-33 record this season following an offseason that featured a number of headline-grabbing transactions, the San Diego Padres fired manager Bud Black Monday.
But as if that wasn’t bad enough, thanks to the power of social media, it was brought to everyone’s attention that the ousted Black is featured holding three puppies in the June photo of the Padres team calendar.

Pat Murphy — the former Arizona State head man and current manager of the Padres’ Triple-A affiliate in El Paso — has been rumored to be Black’s replacement in San Diego.
