On July 21, 1988, the New York Yankees traded young outfielder Jay Buhner to the Seattle Mariners for veteran slugger Ken Phelps.
Who knew that trade would change pop culture in America forever?
The deal became a famous line in the seventh season of Seinfeld, when Frank Costanza angily asks George Steinbrenner how he could have made such a deal.
Wednesday, the two players involved in the now infamous trade reunited at Seattle Mariners camp in Peoria.

They also appeared on Seattle’s broadcast of their Cactus League game against the Oakland A’s, and reminisced.
