New Derek Jeter Gatorade ad is just perfect

Normally here on the Haboob Blog, we like to focus on the weird and wacky happenings in the world of sports. Not today. This is just cool.
New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter has just 11 regular season games left in his unbelievable Major-League career. Considering the Bronx Bombers are six games out in the American League Wild Card race, there won’t any postseason for Jeter.
A couple months ago, Nike’s Jordan brand released a great tribute commercial for Jeter. Now, Gatorade has done the same.
In the :90-second spot, Jeter tells his driver he’ll walk the last few blocks to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx (we wouldn’t advise that to our readers). Jeter interacts with fans on his way to the ballpark and the commercial ends with the captain tipping his cap to a sold-out crowd.
Just awesome. Well done, Gatorade. And congratulations on a great career, Derek.
