Ask anyone to give you a list of the top baseball movies of all time, and “Major League” is bound to come up.
And if it doesn’t, the person you are talking to is likely either a liar or someone who should not be trusted.
The film is the Cleveland Indians’ quest as they go from a team that was built with losing in mind to one that could contend for the pennant.
Starring Tom Berenger, Charlie Sheen, Corbin Bernsen, Margaret Whitton, Rene Russo and Wesley Snipes, it is dramatic, funny and excellent.
That’s why we are fond of Boston Red Sox catcher David Ross, who decided to honor the film’s 25th anniversary by recreating it in his own special way.
