October 14, 2012: Cardinals inactives

John Skelton will be the backup quarterback today vs. Buffalo.

He has not played nor suited up since hurting his ankle Week 1 vs. Seattle, missing the last four games.

He participated fully in every practice this week.

Meanwhile, Todd Heap (knee) will miss his third straight game.

The Cardinals other inactives:
CB Michael Adams
OL Senio Kelemete
QB Ryan Lindley
FB Anthony Sherman
CB Greg Toler
LB Reggie Walker

Adams (hamstring), Sherman (knee), Toler (hamstring) and Walker (head) did not practice this week.

With Adams and Tolder sidelined, Crezdon Butler will play. He was just re-signed this week.

Reagan Maui'a will fill the role of fullback in the absence of Sherman.

Also, LaRon Byrd is active for the first time this season as the Cardinals will suit up five receivers.

to the Bills. Skelton needs to be traded for a 5th or 6th pick. Maybe for a marginal tackle, or new line coach. I dont care what anyone says Skelton will never be a viable starting Qb. We have a hard throwing inaccurate Qb backing up Skelton, Lindley. We dont need 2. Trade Skelton, make Lindley the starter, bring back Bartel. I defy anyone to say they felt good about Skeltons ability to lead them to the win. Kolb is out for at least 5 weeks. 4-7 is on the horizon.
